Olympic Flame “Ares” boys 2003 tryouts – September 25th and 26th!
With the summer season quickly coming to an end, Olympic Flame “Ares”, our boys 2003 team, is turning its attention to the upcoming U15 indoor season.
After a great outdoor season, Olympic Flame “Ares” will once again be playing this winter in the extremely competitive Hangar indoor league in preparation for the 2018 outdoor season. “Ares” will be fielding two teams this winter, one in each of the 11v11 league and the 6v6 league to best prepare our boys for next summer. Olympic Flame “Ares” is stepping up its game, and we also plan on fielding two teams next summer, both a Tier 1 team and a Tier 2 team. While other 2003 boys programs are disappearing, we are expanding our program, and we have ambitious plans for 2018.
As always, “Ares” is likely to be one of the few Scarborough teams to play all winter long in a high-caliber league, against some of the best teams in the GTA. Our commitment to preparing the boys for the 2018 summer outdoor season begins now. As “Ares” will be running two teams both this winter and next summer, we will be having open tryouts on Monday and Tuesday, September 25th and 26th at Wexford Collegiate (1176 Pharmacy Avenue, Scarborough, ON M1R 2H7) from 6:30pm to 7:45pm.
We have already added several excellent new players to “Ares” for the winter season, and our Head Coach Andrew Male is looking for high-quality players to join both the 11v11 team and the 6v6 team to fill out the remaining roster spots for the upcoming 2017-8 winter indoor rosters.
If you are born in 2003 and would like to play with one of Scarborough’s perennial top teams this winter at the Hangar and next summer, please contact Head Coach Andrew Male (email@example.com), Assistant Coach Tom Tentoglou (416-721-5800 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or Manager Paul Gribilas (647-244-7285 or email@example.com) to find out more about our program and arrange for a tryout this September.
