Olympic Flame “Ares” is proud to announce that Sebastian "Seb" Arangio has now joined the team as the new Head Coach. This is the first of many big changes planned for the team this summer.
Coach Paul Gribilas will now fit into the role of the Team General Manager, and Co-coach Tom Tentoglou will now manage team sponsorship and scouting.
Coach Seb started playing soccer at only three years old and played at the highest competitive level for his entire playing career. From playing in the Nationals and finishing 3rd with the Ajax Soccer club to playing with the pros as a Reserve for Toronto FC for a couple of years, Coach Seb got a taste of a lifelong dream. Coach Seb went on to share his knowledge and passion for the game by coaching the competitive U-15 Olympic Flame Boys team, has worked with young soccer players as a licensed trainer at FC Durham Academy, and has now transitioned to Head coach of this year’s Olympic Flame U-12 boys team. Coach Seb is also currently playing semi-pro with GS United.
