Just like in the MASC tournament 3 weeks earlier, "Ares" Blue came out incredibly focused and strong, dictating the play with a fantastic display of possession and physical dominance. "Ares" Blue first faced local team Clifton Park Steamers, posting a very impressive 6-0 victory against a team much better than the score suggests. The absolute highlight of the weekend was the second game, when "Ares" Blue faced off against Black Rock FC, an exclusive residential academy program from Massachusetts which han...

Olympic Flame Ares Blue once again competed this past winter in the always competitive Hangar indoor soccer league. Adding to the high level of competition, Ares Blue played in the mixed U15-U16 league.
Ten teams competed in this league, five U15 teams (including Ares Blue) and five U16 teams. Ares blue had a fantastic winter season, despite the fact that the season was focused on development and not necessarily wins and losses. Notwithstanding this focus on development, Ares Blue finished the season in 3rd place with a record of 8(W)-3(L)-2(T), ahead of four U16 teams.
Congrats to the Snowmen for their 1st place finish in the Season 2 Ares Winter Futsal Cup!
Tobey, Juan, Declan, Elijah, and Jules played a grueling 24 game season against their Ares teammates in the winter fustsol soccer season.
The Snowmen finished the season tied in points, wins and ties with Team Lemonaid, and played a nail biting playoff game to win by a sudden death goal.
Ares players from the 2003 born White and Blue teams, play every other week during the winter in a fun futsal soccer season. The players are split into five teams of 5 or 6 players per team and play 24 games per season each. It was fast paced, great fun, and a great break from typical practices.
Congratulations to Tobey, Nico, Santiago, Christos, Elijah, and Corwin from Team Banana for winning Season 1!
Olympic Flame “Ares” boys 2003 tryouts – September 25th and 26th!
With the summer season quickly coming to an end, Olympic Flame “Ares”, our boys 2003 team, is turning its attention to the upcoming U15 indoor season.
After a great outdoor season, Olympic Flame “Ares” will once again be playing this winter in the extremely competitive Hangar indoor league in preparation for the 2018 outdoor season. “Ares” will be fielding two teams this winter, one in each of the 11v11 league and the 6v6 league to best prepare our boys for next summer. Olympic Flame “Ares” is stepping up its game, and we also plan on fielding two teams next summer, both a Tier 1 team and a Tier 2 team. While other 2003 boys programs are disappearing, we are expanding our program, and we have ambitious plans for 2018.
